Driver Navigation App
Route Planning can be implemented for cyclic (standard) waste collection just like for dynamic one. Waste Monitoring data enhances the benefits of Route Planning as it maximizes efficiency, avoids unnecessary routing, saves time and cost. Sensoneo‘s Route Planning engine is able to process data of over 100K bins and 100 vehicles and provide optimal collection routes in seconds.
The Driver Navigation App provides turn-by-turn voice-guided navigation via the shortest, completely safe, and most accessible route. It was designed for the specific needs of waste collection vehicles and it can also easily cope even with the demanding environment of narrow streets in historical city centers.
Driver Navigation App
The operator sends scheduled routes to drivers via Driver Navigation App – a mobile app for Android devices. The driver receives an itinerary for the route and the app provides step-by-step navigation.
Sensoneo uses GPS localization in Android mobile devices with Driver Navigation mobile app to track collection trucks on the route. The ongoing route is visible in the Smart waste management system. The operator can adjust the ongoing route and send an updated itinerary to the driver. The tool compares planned and executed routes. The driver can report any problem he encounters while on the route via Driver Navigation App to Operator.
