Design, develop and maintain business intelligence solutions with Microsoft Power BI
We are looking for a Power BI Engineer to work on deposit return scheme. You will cooperate closely with our stakeholders to understand their data and reporting needs and use Power BI to create visualisations and dashboards that help them make informed decisions. You should have strong problem-solving and communication skills, as well as experience working with data visualization and business intelligence tools. You will be a part of the team but should be able to work independently as well and take responsibility. The position requires being able to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Pro-active approach is a must.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports to meet the needs of stakeholders
- Develop and maintain data models to support the creation of Power BI visualizations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data and reporting requirements
- Use SQL to extract, transform, and load data into the Power BI data model
- Perform data quality checks and troubleshoot data issues
- Work closely with IT and other teams to ensure that Power BI solutions are properly implemented and integrated with other systems
- Keep up to date with the latest developments in Power BI and related technologies
What we expect
- 2+ years of experience with Power BI or a similar business intelligence tool
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets
- Experience with data modelling and data visualization best practices
- Familiarity with data management principles and techniques
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience working in a team environment
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
