This allows to measure fill-levels even through walls, screens, or barriers. In other words, the radar sensor does not have to be mounted inside the plastic bin, but can be installed outside. This makes it extraordinarily beneficial, for example, with plastic oil tanks.
The radar sensor by Sensoneo features an important functionality called “Antitheft,” which was developed to quickly detect any non-standard decrease in the level of measured commodities, such as liquids. The sensor can identify if the pre-set emptying speed has been exceeded. Based on this, it triggers an event in the WMS (Waste Management System) that sends an immediate notification to the customer’s email, informing them of the need to check the monitored location.

Available networks
We do not limit customers to a certain network. Our customers have sensors connected to several networks – it all depends on the connectivity available in the given location. Radar Sensor from Sensoneo can be connected to two IoT networks – NB-IoT and the Cat-M1 wireless network. Data is sent in real time to our Smart Waste Management System, one of the best waste management software on the market.
Payload and network communication is encrypted on two levels preventing misuse of Sensoneo Sensors for DDOS attacks.
