Sensoneo RFID waste bin tagging enables users to identify and record all bin assets, simplify tracking, communication and invoicing, and restrains unauthorized use of bins. A clear and accurate overview of all bin assets is key and the very first step leading to smart waste management. The tool provides instant access to the quantity, location and type of particular bins, and enables easy and quick owner identification.
Sensoneo, a global provider of smart waste management solutions operating in 42 countries worldwide, now offers a brand new method of waste bin tagging that combines uniqueness, reliability and convenience of everyday operation. In contrast to generally available solutions, Sensoneo’s bin tagging solution does not require the usage of any readers nor any technological equipment other than a smartphone (either iOS or android). Sensoneo’s app is available in three different modes and it enables users to read and use all the data accordingly. Sensoneo provides 3 types of bin tags that enable operators to choose the most suitable option for their specific criteria.
Sensoneo’s waste bin tagging solution does not require the use of any readers. The tool is fully controlled via the Sensoneo desktop application and/or mobile application, which is available in three different modes. Each mode ensures that the correct rights are available for the authorized person to carry out all the actions such as reading the information from the tag, receiving alerts on any changes in terms of location/owner, receiving notifications about any problems at the stands/bins and/or requests for on-demand pick-up (if this option is available).
The label is made of tough and durable plastic to withstand harsh conditions for several years. The chip can be attached to the container by sticking (the sticking mechanism is equipped with a label automatically) or by riveting, which ensures longer durability.
The barcode (or QR code) of the waste container is visibly located on the front of the chip. These codes will enable you to retrieve information from the database – container identification number, owner information, address where the container should be located, and a collection schedule – from any smart phone or tablet with an internet connection.
Simply scan the code into the Sensoneo application and you immediately get the available information. It is up to you to decide which information about the container is available to the public and which is restricted to “signed users only”.
The built-in RFID functionality allows automatic service verification on pick-up.
Place the sticker with a QR code visibly on the waste bin. The label material is designed for harsh outdoor conditions. After reading the QR code via any smart phone or tablet, you will get the identification number of the bin, information about the owner, the address where the bin/dumpster should be located and the collection schedule. This solution is cost-effective and convenient.
Also called “plugs”. The combination has the same functionality as an RFID chip with a bar code or QR code. The difference is in the location of the RFID chip. The cap is placed on the bottom of the container, where it is hidden from thieves or vandals. At the same time, it is protected from possible damage when handling the garbage container.
RFID functionality in the Enclosure allows contactless discharge verification. Unfortunately, it does not serve to visually identify the garbage can for the owner, provided by the code (bar code / code number / QR code) and without a special reader, the information is not available to the workers of the shipping company.
The QR code on the label will provide you with a container identification number, owner information, address where the container should be located, and a collection schedule after reading it through any smart phone or tablet.
Overview, knowledge and order. An excellent tool for the passportization of containers, which allows easy and quick orientation in the location and typology of trash cans (size, type of waste, specifications) as well as assigned owners. This enables users to quickly and accurately locate individual containers, speed up container management operations and communicate with their customers.
Waste bin tagging clearly and accurately identifies entire waste bin infrastructure. Thus, any unlabeled container automatically serves as a quick identification of a container whose collection is not included in the current contract, and respectively not paid. It is also possible to quickly identify relocated bins and containers and, by doing so, prevent the misuse of containers for unauthorized waste disposal.
The accurate and detailed identification of the owner / user of the bin greatly simplifies communication with customers. Addressability and quick traceability reduces the time needed to handle any queries or complaints. As data related to the owner/user of the bin is only available in a system that is accessible to authorized personnel only, citizens are protected from the possible misuse of data, such as what might occur when it is possible to identify the residents of the property simply by using a scanning app.
Citizens have better access to information on communal/waste collection services. By scanning the bar code, the citizen can check the nearest collection schedule and the types of waste belonging to the container. After logging into the application, citizens can also report damage events, a damaged container or the need for replacement, or request an “on-demand pick-up” if the city allows it.
The Sensoneo waste bin tag solution is also beneficial because it is the perfect preparation for any other tools or services that can further improve the level of waste management. For example, by installing the Sensoneo RFID Reader on a collection vehicle, it is possible to ensure 100% automatic service verification on pick-up. It also enables users to deploy the “On-demand waste collection”, “Pay by Waste Volume” model, or install a comprehensive weight-based reporting system.
